Two men drive into Fayetteville business, shoot car

Fayetteville, North Carolina — Officers from the Fayetteville Police Department were dispatched to Mikotos in the 7900 block of Raeford Road at 12:18 p.m. Sunday due to a disturbance in the parking lot.

The caller said someone fired several shots at a car.

Officials identified two men who were involved in an altercation with others at Mikotos.

The two men appeared to have been under the influence of a hazardous substance when they left the business and got into a white pickup truck in a parking lot, officials said.

The pair then drove through the seating area outside Mikotos, where several customers were sitting, when they were hit by the vehicle.

Shots were fired at the truck and the men fled the scene.

Officers located the car with one of the men in it. Officers located another man on Circle K near the incident. Both were safely detained.
