B&H Photo is currently offering the 14-inch MacBook Pro for $1,799, a savings of $200 and the lowest price we’ve seen on the model, which just launched last month. This promotional price is for the starting configuration and gets you a powerful 10-core M2 Pro processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.
In our 14-inch MacBook Pro review, we found that Apple’s newest premium laptop is the fastest laptop we’ve tested in just about every metric. It handled our day-to-day workloads, handling graphics-demanding games without a hitch, while delivering enough battery life to last a workday. Unlike Apple’s older and less expensive laptops, the new MacBook Pro comes with multiple ports, making it easy to connect multiple monitors or load photos from an SD card without using a separate USB-C hub. Note that this is effectively the same MacBook Pro that Apple is launching in 2021, but faster, so owners of that model can hold off on buying for now.
But for everyone else in the market for the most powerful MacBook on the market, this is a rare just-announced product worth grabbing before it’s gone.
