SF Opera will be presenting Eugene Onegin, tickets and live from September 25th to October 14th.
She fell in love with him at first sight. But Onegin, a nobleman obsessed with appearance, would never be satisfied with a country girl like Tatyana. Or so he thought.
Emotions run high in Tchaikovsky’s play Eugene Onegin, based on Alexander Pushkin’s deeply human story. The flamboyant melody melts the heart, making it one of the opera’s most romantic masterpieces—from Tatyana’s ebullient letter scene to the fiery final duet in which Tatyana and Onegin battle for their love lives. SF Chronicle members can now enter to win two general admission tickets to the show. Check out the details below. Learn more about the San Francisco Opera’s Eugene Onegin performance here.
