Firefighters working to contain the ongoing large building fire at our JAMIE FREED are near the scene. Jamie, what can you tell us. PATRICK, I’m near the intersection of SOUTH BATESVILLE ROAD and GIBBS SHOALS ROAD. It’s not far from the main road. As you can see, firefighters are actively fighting the fire. The paramedics are here too. So around 445 this morning, a couple of viewers contacted us about this fire. One of them is that you sent us this video shortly after the fire. Greenville County firefighters continued to work Friday morning to extinguish hot spots following a large business fire that broke out overnight. The Machine Builders USA fire was first reported around 3:30 a.m. The business is located on Dry Pocket Road, close to Gibb Shoals Road and South Batesville Road. Firefighters said the fire was under control about 45 minutes after they arrived on the scene. Business owners told WYFF News 4 they were out of town and received a call from firefighters. The website describes the company as a “Carolina family-owned business that helps businesses with their air compressor needs through quality service at an affordable price.”
