PACIFIC, Calif. (AP) — A man was seriously injured Friday after his car fell off a winding cliffside road south of San Francisco and landed on the beach below, authorities said.

Andrews told the paper an initial investigation suggested the man may have been speeding and investigators were awaiting a drug and alcohol toxicology report before determining whether the driver was affected at the time of the incident.
